Ayawa (ah-yah-wah) is a Hopi word meaning Purpose, Mission, Duty - such as this is the reason I did that, or this is my
purpose in life.
The Ayawa Institute is dedicated to the research, education and practice of evolutionary business – the pursuit of how to transform business into a vital and sustaining force in our world.
We are working to provoke the purpose, mission and duty of business today.
The Ayawa Institute is an emerging organization. It is currently comprised of a core group of executives, consultants and teachers that view Awaya's purpose as the most important issue facing business today. We hope, with others, to plant and cultivate the seeds of Evolutionary Business that will truly transform the entire business world. We are working to make The Ayawa Institute an instrumental part of this transformation.
The Ayawa Institute has three main functions:
We perform research into the issues preventing business from reaching its full potential. We sponsor and perform our own research as well as collaborate with others.
We supply education services to business people, businesses, and those who may become business people.
We practice Evolutionary Business. We run The Ayawa Institute by the principles we advocate. We also work with executives and businesses to apply Evolutionary Business in new and existing organizations.
